I really dont want to see this movie so here is a review from jasonsmovieblog that is very thorough and fair. I may watch it on dvd just to see if I agree with critics but for now no need (Good grief I’ve recently seen Chappie and Pixels so I’m wounded enough!)

Cool. Will definitely read your review. After seeing Green Lantern I was done with superhero movies. I swore off them for good. Then Avengers was good and Marvel and Xmen movies started to bring me back to the fold. Don’t want anything to miss that up. 😉 Do you think it needs to be seen in theater?
It all depends on how you look at it. I gave it a bad scoring (not because of everyone else was giving it), but because it had a lot of potential to be really good. The movie could’ve learned from past mistake from other movies and could’ve been truly fantastic. I hold comic book superhero movies in high esteem (Just like you Rachel with Disney movies), so it hurts me inside to see such a poorly conceived movie being made this way. As i said in review, the second half was messy, the tone wasn’t right, the characters were boring (even though I like who they picked to play them), and the movie wasn’t fun or exciting. Some of formed a different opinions about this movie (which I respect), but that’s just mine.
I see what you are saying. I’m going to wait and watch it on dvd. I always try to see things with open mind. I thought you were very fair in your review even though you were disappointed
