Hi everyone! I am very excited to tell you that my youtube channel is back up and running after being terribly hacked. In all the chaos I never posted my August blind spot episode I did with Molly. It was on Once Upon a Time in America– the classic gangster movie by director Sergio Leone.
Like most mob movies this film is very long and I found the pacing to be strangely done but I’m glad I saw it the one time. It has stunning production values and the acting is good. I particularly admire how they matched the young and old versions of the characters so perfectly. The music by Ennio Morricone is classic and the narrative does keep one guessing with the time shifts and the reveals throughout.
These kind of movies aren’t really my favorite but again I’m glad I saw it the one time and would recommend it to anyone who likes mob movies.
