You guys know I don’t really like doing rankings. It’s just so tough to order films when I like things for different reasons. However, there is something about the task I find impossible to resist especially when I have just finished a project. Recently over on my youtube channel I finished reviewing the Disney Canon and I’m very proud of how it came out.
To finish the project I felt I needed to do a new ranking that reflected my new thoughts on some of the films. On this rewatch some films I liked more and others less. Here is my new ranking video:

Let’s break down the various changes.
First of all there 3 new additions:
Moana came in at 14th
Zootopia at 16
Big Hero 6 at 26
We have a new top and bottom spot:
I decided to go with my heart this time and Little Mermaid at 1. Beauty and the Beast at 2.
Home on the Range really didn’t impress me this watch so it replaced Dinosaur, which is now 54th at the bottom
Biggest Rises:
Make Mine Music went up 10 spots from 39th to 29th. I just like the weird little film
Tarzan went up 9 spots from 26th to 17th
Alice in Wonderland increased from 11th to 6th.
Lilo and Stitch, Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, Pinocchio and Meet the Robinsons also improved spots by quite a bit
Biggest Losers-
Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad while visually neat didn’t impress me as much this time going down 17 spots from 16th to 33
Rescuers Down Under also took a hit going from 17th to 30th
Jungle Book was also the big loser going from 9th to 23rd
Saludos Amigos and Black Cauldron both lost 11 spots
Treasure Planet I was more generous to last time going from 35th to 44th which is odd because I felt more positive on rewatch but it’s where I felt it belonged

First of all, I applaud you for watching all the Disney canon films TWICE. Anyone that makes it through Chicken Little and Home on the Range twice deserves some kind of medal.
I’ve only missed a handful (the two Fantasia films, the package films, and The Black Cauldron), but I’m not in a hurry to watch any of those.
I’m not going to even attempt to rank these (since my rankings would change daily depending on what movie I fancy that day). I haven’t watched several in too long (such as Lady and the Tramp, Snow White, The Rescuers Down Under, and others).
I like a lot of your list, especially the high rankings for Tangled and Beauty and the Beast.
While I’m well aware that many Disney fans are lukewarm on Meet the Robinsons and Bolt, I adore both films. Meet the Robinsons’ message (how everything works together for good for Lewis, despite his troubled past) just resonates with me on a spiritual level because it reminds me of Romans 8:28. Bolt is just one of those feel-good movies that I pop in whenever I’m having a bad day; I love all three main characters and the voice actors were perfectly cast.
I also understand that many consider Pinocchio to be among Walt’s best work. The animation is indeed wonderful, but it’s just not my cup of tea. I found Pleasure Island and the Coachman deeply disturbing and just can’t get myself to like that movie.

Forgot about Oliver and Company! I know it’s not a great movie by any means (Sykes is a boring villain, the songs are mixed in quality, and so on), but I have a soft spot for it. It’s Billy Joel’s only film appearance, for starters, and Dodger is hands down one of my favorite Disney characters. Also, I remember watching it as a little kid, so it’s a fond childhood memory.
Oliver and Company is in the ranking at 47th spot. It has problems but I really like Dodger, the songs and some of the artistry

That’s the problems with rankings: they always change after rewatches or new inclusions, lol! But, I liked your pick: BATB made #2 and I’m happy!
I actually know a Disnerd whose fave Disney movie is Pocahontas.

I’m definitely pleased at the good positions of some films (Sleeping Beauty, The Lion King, The Great Mouse Detective, Tarzan), though I’m a bit disappointed The Rescuers Down Under is only at 30.
My own ranking would probably be quite different, but I haven’t seen any of the 40s package films and there’s plenty of older ones I haven’t watched for ages. Plus my rankings tend to shift a lot as well!

It’s so interesting to see how your opinions on films can change! I know that certain ones grow on me more too as time goes on, or as I watch them more.
Isn’t that interesting how that happens? I mean I almost always like Disney on some level so these rankings can be kind of nitpicking.
